1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Freno ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

These terms apply to all users, including both those seeking support ("Users") and those providing support ("Listeners").

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Freno
• You must provide a valid phone number for account creation
• You must not have been previously banned from the platform
• Listeners must complete verification before going live

3. Account Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Do not share your OTP or account access with others.

3.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep your preferences up to date.

3.3 One Account Policy

Each user may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in permanent ban.

4. Platform Services

4.1 Nature of Service

Freno provides a platform for anonymous conversations. We are not a mental health provider, therapy service, or crisis intervention service.

4.2 Listener Qualifications

Listeners are verified for identity and communication skills but are not licensed therapists or medical professionals unless explicitly stated.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Share explicit, sexual, or inappropriate content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Share personal contact information or social media handles
• Attempt to identify or reveal another user's identity
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation
• Record, screenshot, or distribute conversations
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated systems or bots
• Attempt to circumvent payment systems

5.2 Consequences

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban at our discretion.

6. Payments & Refunds

6.1 Pricing

• Sessions are charged per minute based on the listener's set rates
• The first 60 seconds are free - charges begin only after one minute
• Prices are displayed before starting each session

6.2 Wallet System

• Users must maintain sufficient wallet balance to start sessions
• Wallet top-ups are processed through secure payment gateways
• Sessions automatically end when balance is insufficient

6.3 Refunds

• Sessions under 60 seconds are automatically refunded
• Technical issues on our end qualify for refunds
• Refund requests are reviewed within 7 business days
• Wallet balance can be withdrawn subject to minimum limits

7. Listener Terms

7.1 Verification

Listeners must complete identity verification and provide a voice sample before approval.

7.2 Earnings

• Listeners set their own per-minute rates
• Platform commission is deducted from earnings
• Minimum session duration for earnings is 60 seconds
• Withdrawals are processed to registered bank accounts

7.3 Conduct Standards

Listeners must maintain professional, empathetic conduct at all times. Low ratings or reports may result in suspension.

8. Privacy & Data

Your use of Freno is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Conversations are not stored after session ends
• Anonymous avatars protect your identity
• Reported sessions may be reviewed for safety

9. Intellectual Property

The Freno app, including its design, logos, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

10. Disclaimers

• The service is provided "as is" without warranties
• We do not guarantee listener availability at all times
• We are not responsible for content shared by users
• We are not liable for decisions made based on conversations

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freno shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
